This years event held at Pizzy Park, Mermaid Waters was full of action. Despite threatening rain the event was opened by the National Youth Week Ambassador Cosmin Ghebosu at 3pm. The clouds were kind to us and we got through the 3 hours of fun without any rain. We heard live music from Love Like Hate, Just Monday and Lilly Rouge. The Gold Coast Choir also put on an excellent performance. The Youth Expo was awesome with displays, workshops and have a go sports. Headspace, Skate Demos, Titans jumping castle, Kokoda Challenge Obstacle Course, Mechanical Bull, Mechanical Surf Board, Bungy Run, Sticky Wall, Commando Slide, Sumo Wrestling suits, Lazer Skirmish, Duke of Edinburgh Award Cooking Demos, Scouts running a sausage sizzle to list a few. Thank you to everyone who participated in the event.
